Volunteer Testimonials
Chris Korpi, Volunteer in 2008
What inspired you to volunteer with IEFT?
"Meeting the kids and their families and seeing the joy in everyone's face. Here are people that have nothing but love life, family and themselves more then most people I know in other parts of the world that are surrounded by material things and wealth. Literally, for a few hundred dollars or a dozen hours you can change the lives of hundreds of people and make a major change in the world."
Jenny Walker, Volunteer Teacher in 2008
What did you like best about volunteering with IEFT?
"The students of Orkeeswa  Secondary School inspire me in tremendous ways and have taught me more than I will ever be able to teach them.  Their determination in their studies and their joy in life stay with me every day. The founders and staff of the organization have shown me the incredible things that can be accomplished by a small group of people with enormous hearts. Volunteering with IEFT has not only changed my life, but it has changed me and my outlook on the world. I can’t thank IEFT enough."
Jeff Britton, Volunteer Teacher in 2008
What did you like best about volunteering with IEFT?
"Volunteering with IEFT has enabled me to begin making a difference in our global community, and has opened my eyes to the opportunities awaiting anyone who shares my desire to be a difference-maker."

"It really is a great school because it provides education to children who do not have parents and do not have the money to pay for school fees at other secondary schools in the area."

- Noisho'oki Meleta, Parent
