DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING INTERN

Orkeeswa School is looking for a responsible, creative, and detail-oriented intern to assist our Development & Marketing Team. Position is based in Denver, CO, USA.

 

IEFT is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Development & Marketing Intern to support the fundraising, public relations, and other operational needs of the organization. The Development & Marketing Intern will work directly with our Director of Operations, based in Ogallala, NE, and our Development & Marketing Assistant, based at the Posner Center in Denver, CO.

 

Specific responsibilities may include assisting with:

• Data management, hygiene, and entry in Salesforce CRM System

• Communications and marketing strategy and materials development, including updating student profiles using InDesign, editing and drafting sponsor e-mail communications, editing and writing donor acknowledgements, website management

• Assisting with Monitoring & Evaluation data entry, analysis, and research

• Grants and Foundation prospects research Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Strong collaboration skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong writing skills

• Great attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Graphic design skills (InDesign) are a plus, but not necessary

• Salesforce experience is a plus, but not necessary

• Adaptability, flexibility, and proactive approach within the role

 

A start date of April 1, 2020 or earlier is preferred, but is flexible, and at least a three-month commitment, though longer commitments are welcome. This unpaid internship will require approximately 10-15 hours per week, with a combination of regular in-person hours atthe Posner Center for International Development in Denver, and remote work.
