CHANGE THROUGH EDUCATION

Global Scholars Clubs aim to promote discussion around the issues that will face leaders of tomorrow and make a lasting impact in the lives of students around the world by supporting the education of Orkeeswa Students.

7 STEPS TO STARTING A

GLOBAL SCHOLARS CLUB

GET IN TOUCH

Contact the Youth Board about starting a new club. We will send you materials to get you started! 

GET PERMISSION

Complete the necessary paperwork with your school (if required) to start a club. 

FIND A MENTOR

Find a teacher, advisor, or school counselor who can support you in starting a club. Your mentor will help you with organizing events, keeping track of donations, and meeting with your school's administration

CHOOSE A FUNDRAISING GOAL

  • Half Scholarship ($1,200/year)

  • One Scholarship ($2,400/year)

  • Two Scholarships ($4,800/year)

Need fundraising ideas?

GET PAIRED WITH AN ORKEESWA STUDENT

Once you have chosen a fundraising goal, contact us and we will introduce you to an Orkeeswa student(s) who you can support with a scholarship.

SPREAD THE WORD

Let your classmates know about your Global Scholars Club. Share information about Orkeeswa School and the student you support with a scholarship. Talk to your friends and encourage them to get involved!
